Thank you for enquiring /engaging Avanti Environmental Health Services to either:
Conduct a standard pre purchase septic / aerobic inspection/ report; or
Design an Underfloor Plumbing, Septic System / Aerobic System and Effluent Disposal (Waste Control System) package ready for submission for Council approval.
Please note that the standard pre purchase septic/ aerobic inspection/ reports are based on a visual inspection of those areas of the septic that are accessible at the time of conducting the inspection.
Both the inspection and report submitted for your information are based on the requirements set out under the Public Environmental (Waste Control) Regulations 1995 and the Standard for the Construction Installation and Operation of Septic Tank Systems in South Australia.

Fees

The cost to inspect and provide a Standard Pre Purchase Septic / Aerobic Inspection/ Report based on a Visual Inspection (no invasive inspections undertaken) is $200 plus 70 cents per kilometre where the premises is located outside the metropolitan area. The cost to inspect and design an underfloor plumbing plan, septic / aerobic system and effluent disposal system is $100 plus 70 cents per kilometre where the premises is located outside the metropolitan area. Where Avanti Environmental Health is requested to design and lodge a septic / aerobic application( on behalf of the client) with council the cost to design and submit the application is $439 ** plus 70 cents per kilometre where the premises is located outside the metropolitan area. ** Please note this fee is subject to change based on annual legislative increases imposed by State Government.

Exclusions

There are a number of areas that are not included in the Standard Pre Purchase Septic / Aerobic System Inspection/ Report or the Design of an Underfloor Plumbing, Septic System / Aerobic System and Effluent Disposal System package. The items on this page are not noted whilst conducting the inspection nor whilst designing the waste control system and as such are not included in the report / design submitted.

We at Avanti Environmental Health Services would like to bring to your attention the following information: The fee for service is GST exclusive and that payment will be submitted prior to the completion of the report/ design of the waste control system.

For pre-purchase septic / aerobic inspections you will be required to organise with the agent a time that we can access the premises to undertake the inspection. Please note that given current work commitments it would be preferable if it is on weekends between 8.30am to 5.30pm or on weeknights after 5.30 pm during daylight savings time.

That Avanti Environmental Health Services reserves the right to refuse provision of the report/ design of the waste control system where payment for services rendered does not occur within the time lines as stated above.
